Sudanese Sorghum ( DURA )

we have exported hundreds of thousands of tons to Europe, middle East, & Japan all exported quantities have earned our customers praise and certainly their satisfaction and they prefer it when compared with other origins.
Always freshly packed, and is not treated by chemicals harmful to human beings and animals during all stages of production. In brief Sudanese White Sorghum is the ideal animal feed grains whenever the prices of your locally produced grains go up.

Sesame Seeds

Sudan produces three types of Sesame:
– Whitish Sesame Seeds is the dominant exportable item, it is well known for its good quality all over the world for manufacturing sweet and confectionery manufacturers in Europe, Middle East, and the Far East.
– Mixed Sesame Seeds is the second grade, it differs from the whitish variety in its oil content (higher) and color as it comprises a mixture between whitish and red sesame seeds.
– Red Sesame seeds contains the highest oil content. Sudanese Sesame seeds are well known for not being chemically treated in any stage of production.


Sudanese Hibiscus, Roselle, red or Indian sorrel locally known by the name of ( KAR KADEH) is the finest of all kinds produced in the world, for years Sudan has been the top producer and exporter.
The product is mainly exported to Europe and Middle East, it is used in pharmaceutical industries, also a very delicious hot or cold drink with a pungent taste and lovely tang, rich in vitamin “C” could be obtained just by immersing the dry chalices into water.
The product can also be packed into bags (just like tea bags) to produce what Japanese and some Europeans term as “RED TEA “. Also an instant powder can be prepared by dry spraying process.


Millet is widely grown around the world as cereal crops or grains for fodder and human food. Millet is an important crop in the semi-arid tropics of Asia and Africa. The crop is favored due to its productivity and short growing season under dry, high temperature conditions hence it is an important food item for the population living in the drier parts of the world, es­ pecially in eastern and central Africa, and in the northern coastal countries of western Africa.
Sudanese Millet is one of the best qualities worldwide, in Europe it is mainly used for bird feed and like all Sudanese crops no chemicals are used during the production process.

Watermelon Seeds

Sudanese watermelon seeds are well known in the neighboring countries. Their main use is as a cracker food. When roasted the pulp of the seed gets the very delicious taste and flavor of roasted nuts.
Many people in the Middle East enjoy themselves hulling the roasted seed by their mouths in search for the tasty pulps.
Other watermelon seeds uses:
– As bird & animal feed.
– For oil production.

Groundnut Oil

Also known as Peanut oil, or Arachis oil, is a mild tasting vegetable oil derived from peanuts. It is often used in Chinese, South Asian and Southeast Asian cuisine, both for general cooking, and in the case of roasted oil, for added flavor. Peanut oil has a high smoke point relative to many other cooking oils, so is commonly used for frying foods. Its major component fatty acids are oleic acid (46.8% as olein) , linoleic acid (33.4% as linolein), and palmitic acid ( l 0.0% as palmitin) . The oil also contains some stearic acid, arachidic acid, arachidonic acid, behenic acid, lignoceric acid and other fatty acids.

Groundnut Expellers

As large oil seed producer Sudan has also developed a growing oil pressing industry, as a byproduct oil seeds expellers in massive quantities
Some of these expellers such as ground nuts and sesame seeds, cotton seeds and sun flower expellers have found its way to European and Middle Eastern markets and established good reputation.


Senna Pods also known as Senna alexandrina, are collected from senna shrubs of the genus cassia where it grow wildly in the arid regions of Sudan.
It has been used for centuries in Africa and Asia as a herbal laxative and modern medicine started using its extracts since the 1950s as a laxative It is also used in pharmaceutical industries as a cathartic and emetic, also it could be used as a purgative at home by preparing what is called Senna tea.

Gum Arabic

Gum arabic, also known as acacia gum, chaar gund, char goond, or meska, is a natural gum made of hardened sap taken from two species of the acacia tree; Senegalia (Acacia) senegal and Vachellia (Acacia) seyal.
Gum arabic is used primarily in the food industry as a stabilizer. It is edible and has E number E4l4. Gum arabic is a key ingredient in traditional lithography and is used in printing, paint production, glue, cosmetics and various industrial applications, including viscosity control in inks and in textile industries, although less expensive materials compete with it for many of these roles.


Sudan produces several commercial varieties of cotton the two major types are:
• Barakat ( 90 )
The major extra long staple ( ELS) variety (33-36 mm) ,early maturing and high – yielding , The variety is comparable to traditional Barakat in fibre characteristics , superior in both fineness and strength
( 34-41 HVI) .
The bulk is grown in Gezira ( irrigated ,hand picked and roller ginned ) .
• Barac ( 67 ) Acala
It is a Medium Staple Cotton , both roller and saw ginned , the variety is known for its good micronaire value
( 3.8 – 4.2) and bright coulor .
